AEON AWARDING MOST PHOTOGHENIC BABY

SELANGOR, 22 May 2011 – When a child is born, so is a photographer. Parents and family members take endless pictures that have created AEON to organize a photo baby contest.
AEON CO. (M) Bhd which operates the JUSCO departmental stores and shopping centre chain, awarding the most photogenic baby in Malaysia through its JUSCO’s Photogenic Baby Contest in a Grand Finals Prize Presentation ceremony which was held at AEON Bukit Tinggi, Klang, today.
The search was started since 21st February 2011 until 6th March 2011. A total of 884 participations all over the country have received from the parents by submit their babies’ and toddlers’ photos for the JUSCO Photogenic Baby Contest. To participate on this contest, customers had to spend a minimum of RM30 from the Baby Department and submit one 4R size photograph of their child.
When the contest period ended in March 2011, the judges narrowed down and selected 52 finalists from both categories. The finalists photographs thereafter been posted up for voting by the J Card Members at the designated area at AEON Bandaraya Melaka, JUSCO Cheras Selatan, JUSCO Bukit Tinggi, JUSCO Ipoh, JUSCO Mid Valley, JUSCO Queensbay, JUSCO Taman Maluri and JUSCO Tebrau City from 18th April 2011 to 1st May 2011.
The candidates were separated into two categories – Category 1 for babies below 12 months and Category 2 for toddlers aged 12 months and 1 day to 24 months. The judging was based on the funniest and healthiest baby photos voted by JCard Members.
